IMPORTANT POINTS FOR THE EXAM

GRADE 4

• Use superlatives and comparatives
• Like, love, hate +ing (I like climbing)
• Make questions (study three well)
• Be careful with the present and the past
• Listen carefully to the questions
• Smile, relax, feel comfortable
• A person is funny, something (game, activity...) is good fun

GRADE 2

• Vocabulary (clothes, animals, food, drinks, numbers, dates, parts of the house, days of the week, hobbies, places...)
• Prepositions (be careful with between and next to)
• I AM nine years old
• Make questions
• There is/there are
• My pencil/This pencil is mine
• Don't forget the subjects of the sentences (I, you, He, Ana, the dog...)
• Descriptions (friends, family, house...)
• Smile, relax :)

Some points you have to take into account:

• Relax, take it easy. It is just a teacher asking you questions!
• Avoid common mistakes (I have 9 years old, last year I go to my village, two persons...)
• Be polite: thank you, please, can you repeat the question?
• Answer long sentences not short ones
• Don't forget to make a question to the examinator when you introduce your topic
• Don't use difficult vocabulary or expressions, feel comfortable speaking with your own words
• Review your vocabulary list and the different sheets of papers that I gave you in class
• You are GREAT and your English is really good, let them know!!!
